With two movie challenges on my list, it may be some time before I manage to cross these items off my bucket list. After a month I am only a quarter way through the Oscar winners and I have barely scratched the surface on the Disney list.
Thank goodness for Now TV and Netflix because they are going to be my saviour. The Never Miss option on the Sky website is so handy. I have updated it with all the films I need to watch, and it will notify me if one comes up on the TV schedule. Meanwhile, there are plenty available on demand for me to work through.
There is a big difference between having a list of movies you would like to watch and working through lists like these. Obviously, there are going to be many films I wouldn't have chosen myself. For some people, this could make this challenge a bit of a chore. Luckily, I am no movie snob. I will watch any genre of film as long as it is entertaining.
Of the two challenges, I am more likely to struggle with the Oscars list, mainly because there are far too many heavy, deep and meaningful dramas and not enough laughs. I have always had a love of Disney, so this list will be easier I think. I watch movies for escape and what better form of escapism is there than a good old fashioned everything-will-be-okay-in-the-end Disney flick.
